A large amount of Internet websites and services were taken offline a few months ago when Internet-connected video cameras and routers were compromised and used as part of an attack on critical Internet infrastructure.  Even more scary: many of these flaws still exist...

What happens when manufactures fail to implement basic security features? Who is responsible for preventing these attacks? The vendors? The Internet providers? The government? The device user? Who is liable when businesses are impacted and real money is lost?

Also, what practical actions can you take to defend your company (and yourself) against these attacks?

IoT is the Internet's new "Legal Frontier", and it is just beginning to be discussed in the courts.
